New Testament – Bible Summaries

The New Testament, forming the second major division of the Christian Bible, is comprised of 27 books that center on the life, ministry, and sacrificial death of Jesus Christ, as well as His resurrection, which is the cornerstone of Christian faith. This section also documents the rise of the early Church, empowered by the Holy Spirit, as the apostles carry Christ’s message to the world. Through the teachings of Jesus, the letters of the apostles, and the prophetic visions in Revelation, the New Testament reveals God’s redemptive plan and calls believers to a life of faith, love, and hope. Each book within the New Testament builds on Old Testament foundations, fulfilling prophecies and establishing the New Covenant—a promise of eternal life and reconciliation with God through Jesus Christ. This division not only offers historical insight but also spiritual guidance, laying the path for Christian living and the hope of Christ’s return.
